MANUVIKASA is an NGO working in Uttara Kannada and Haveri District of Karnataka State on natural resources conservation especially water conservation and bio-diversity conservation, women empowerment, education support to poor and orphan children and livelihood development of small farmers and land less labors. MANUVIKASA is started in 2003 in Karjagi village, Siddapur Taluk of Uttatra Kannada District and working in Two Districts, 14 Blocks and around 45000 families.
Casa Foundation (CF) is an Indian registered trust with 80G. CF plays a facilitating role by coordinating, monitoring and funding development projects led by local NGOs in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. In Bangalore, we work with the NGO Dream india Network. We help this NGO in managing foster homes welcoming very vulnerable children from the street of Bangalore. We give them access to a home and personal care, medical assistance and an education in private schools.
Compassion Unlimited Plus Action (CUPA) is a non-profit, non-government organization setup in 1991 Miss Crystal Rogers, a British woman who left her life in England to start a the first-ever animal shelter in the Delhi in the 1960s that would take in suffering animals and provide a safe space for healing and happiness. CUPA provides rescue and relief to thousands of injured, ill and needy street animals in Bangalore, Karnataka. Animals that come hurt, sick or abandoned are given the care and treatment they need to recover and then be re-homed or rehabilitated.
‘ASHRAYA’ is a registered, non profit organization started in 1982. ASHRAYA’S mission is to provide non-institutional solutions for underprivileged children through education and family support and to socially and economically empower abused, destitute and abandoned women and children. ASHRAYA’S projects include Community Crèches at 6 different locations in Bengaluru. It provides a safe and stimulating environment for 250 children in the 2.5 – 5 year age group.
Shishu Mandir is an organization for giving poor, neglected and traumatized children a base for a life in dignity. To achieve this, a home with a family-like atmosphere, a school with small entities of class formations and a vocational training centre for school drop-outs were created. The main aspect of bringing up these youths lies on liberating them from the various social stigmas, by treating them with respect, warmth and understanding. All education is free of any fees. The main criterion is poverty.
Dream a Dream is a registered, charitable trust empowering children and young people from vulnerable backgrounds to overcome adversity and flourish in the 21st century using a creative life skills approach. Currently, we work with 10,000 young people a year through our two innovation labs – After School Life Skills Programme and Career Connect Programme; have trained over 5500 teachers/educators from 157 partners impacting over 137,500 children and young people and sensitize over 2500 volunteers through our unique Life Skills Development model.
SankalpTaru Foundation is an IT enabled NGO, that has so far planted and survived more than 750,000 trees in 16 Indian states and 12 majorly polluted cities of the country from Leh Ladakh to Tamil Nadu to the Sundarbans. We support farmers and empower women to uplift their livelihood by tree plantation. With our healthy green trees, we teach school students about environment conservation and help reduce their carbon footprints. We have integrated GPS technology with Google Earth and Maps to devise geo-tagging of trees, thus providing visibility and transparency to our stakeholders and contributors. Education is the most powerful weapon that can be used to change the world. Education allows those from less fortunate backgrounds to build a life, stand out among the rest, and rise above their expectations. Each year, Canadian International School, Bangalore (CIS) awards as many as 10 scholarship to deserving students in grades 9 and 11. Building upon this initiative, CIS has created the CIS Wings campaign to help support these scholarship students after graduation with their college expenses. The aim of CIS Wings is to support the study, living, and travel expenses of students so that they can, in fact, attend their university of choice.

Founded in 1999, Magic Bus works with children and young people living in poverty across 22 states and 80 districts in India, taking them from a childhood full of challenges to a life with meaningful livelihoods. We equip children and young people in the age group of 12 to 18 with the skills and knowledge they need to grow up and move out of poverty. Our approach mobilises the entire ecosystem available to the child or young person to create transformational change in their lives. They successfully fend off destabilizers such as child marriage and child labour go on to become first-generation salary earners.
GoSports Foundation is a non-profit venture working towards the development of some of India’s top talents in Olympic and Paralympic disciplines, through athlete scholarships and knowledge building programmes. Joined by Rahul Dravid and Pullela Gopichand, the athletes will be provided with a holistic support system comprising financial support, access to crucial sports science interventions, physiotherapy, strength & conditioning, mental conditioning, support to procure training equipment, apparel, and gear, and support with financing tournament entry fees, and associated travel and accommodation costs.
